Royal Hojari Frankincense (Boswellia sacra) and Boswellia papyrifera resins are crushed by hand using a mortar and pestle, then infused in organic fractionated coconut oil (FCO). Frankincense contains a complex composition of notes; warm resin, pine, citrus, amber, and slightly honeyed florals that connect beautifully with orange blossom.
Orange Blossom Absolute, Neroli, and a touch of Petitgrain sur Fleurs, all from the bitter orange tree, ( Citrus aurantium var. amara), recreate the experience of smelling orange blossoms from dawn to dusk. It begins with the bright, cool fragrance of orange blossoms as the dawn sun first kisses the petals, then slowly warms the blooms until the heady, honeyed, narcotic, slightly indolic flowers surrender to the heat. As the sun sets, the leaves cool and release their soft green notes, completing the arc.
The comforting, edible warmth of Vanilla CO₂, long associated with desire, evokes olive cake when paired with the barely perceptible unctuous, fatty, green quality of Olive Fruit Absolute.
Beach-combed Ambergris exalts the florals and adds mysterious marine depth to the blend.
