This electric incense burner allows kyphi and resins (frankincense, myrrh, galbanum, copal, etc.) to be gently heated avoiding the acrid smoke created when burning on coal. Incense materials may need 5-10 minutes of heat before their fragrance is released. There typically won't be smoke, the volatile oils will be released without burning.

Frankincense (5g) - I have a variety and will include one of the varieties that has boswellic acid.

Instructions:
Turn on the switch on at the base. The base has a separate light switch, the heater will not reach the stated temperature when the light switch is off.
Use the temperature/timer controller to set the time and temperature.
Most resins should be heated using 300F. Use mica plate or metal dish to heat resin. I prefer the mica plate. The metal dish may be lined with foil for easy cleaning.
Safety considerations:
Never leave the incense warmer unattended.
Keep away from children and pets.
It is not recommended to set the timer for longer than 2 hours.
Never use oils or water in the incense burner. It is intended to be used with dry incense materials.
Although botanical ingredients form the foundation for all our fragrances, aroma chemicals are used selectively in a supporting role in some of our compositions.
